Daniel Craig finds playing James Bond "funny". The actor loves portraying the British secret agent as he really identifies with the character, especially when Bond gets himself into difficult situations. Speaking at the royal world premiere - which was attended by Princes William and Harry - of new movie 'Quantum of Solace' in London last night (29.10.08), Daniel told BANG Showbiz: "I find it very easy playing Bond. I think he's hilarious. He gets himself into some extraordinarily funny situations." Daniel - who was joined on the red carpet by his long-term partner Satsuki Mitchell - refused to be drawn on who his ideal Bond girl would be, but did reveal he was amazed at the reception he received from fans who braved freezing temperatures to catch a glimpse of their hero. He said: "I can't say who my dream Bond girl would be... the one on my arm tonight! "The reception is better than last time, I really appreciate all the fans being here. It's really exciting, it's been fantastic." Dame Judi Dench - who plays head of MI6 M in the film, and appeared with 007 in red rhinestones on the back of her neck - was full of praise for her co-star Daniel, and says he is just as much fun on set as his predecessor Pierce Brosnan. She revealed: "It's lovely working with Daniel. The thing about working with Daniel and Pierce is that they both have huge senses of humour. You mustn't take yourself too seriously." Judi insists the new movie is an evolution for the iconic spy. She added: "I suspect it will move with the times, which is why I think this one will be good for now - which are rather dark times."
