Forest Whitaker and Renee Zellweger are set to start filming Olivier Dahan’s indie drama "My Own Love Song." Variety reports the movie (which was written and will be directed by Dahan) is scheduled to start shooting next month in Kansas and New Orleans. Alain Goldman (who worked with Dahan on "La Vie en rose") will handle producing chores on the film – which will also star Madeline Zima ("Californication"). The film follows a wheelchair-bound former singer and her friend on a road trip to Memphis. Both of the characters have gone through tragedy in their lives and have to lean on each other for support. Zellweger just finished shooting the Ed Harris "Appaloosa." Whitaker will return to the big screen with "Winged Creatures."
